4 Notable Health Tech Funding Announcements in November

Health tech funding activity in November included several sizable rounds across consumer health, AI-enabled care, and neurological diagnostics. Function Health secured $298 million in Series B financing to expand its subscription-based lab testing platform, while Tala Health raised $100 million to grow its AI-supported virtual care services for clinicians and patients. Beacon Biosignals brought in $86 million to scale its FDA-cleared EEG technology and AI tools for neurology and sleep medicine.

Hippocratic AI stood out among the announcements, raising $126 million in Series C funding to advance its non-diagnostic, patient-facing clinical AI agents. Backed by investors including Avenir Growth, CapitalG, General Catalyst, a16z, and Kleiner Perkins, the company has now raised $404 million and reached a $3.5 billion valuation. The new funding will support deeper customer deployments, further product development, and potential mergers and acquisitions as Hippocratic AI continues expanding its safety-focused healthcare agent platform.
