Hippocratic AI Expands Life Sciences Leadership Team as Pharma and Medtech Demand for Voice AI Agents Accelerates

Hippocratic AI announced several new senior executive appointments to expand its life sciences leadership team as demand grows for its voice and conversational AI agents in pharma, biotech, and medtech. The company said the hires follow its acquisition of Grove AI in January 2026 and the launch of Polaris Life Sciences 5.0, which are part of its effort to establish itself as a leading platform for safe generative AI in life sciences. Hippocratic AI emphasized that the new executives strengthen leadership across medical affairs, compliance, engineering, business development, and commercial growth as adoption of AI healthcare agents accelerates.

The new hires include Dr. Toby Patterson as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, where he will oversee medical affairs, quality, and pharmacovigilance strategy; Sulaiman Qazi as Chief Compliance Officer for Life Sciences, leading compliance and regulatory frameworks; John Kutz as Chief Growth Officer for Biotech, focused on commercial expansion; Himanshu Sharma as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships; and Sri Subramaniam as Vice President of Engineering for Life Sciences, leading development of pharma- and medtech-focused AI agents built on the Polaris model family. Hippocratic AI said the additions support its goal of scaling safe, compliant, non-diagnostic AI healthcare agents for life sciences organizations while continuing to position the company as a leader in conversational AI for healthcare.
