Hippocratic AI has raised $126 million in its Series C round, bringing its valuation to $3.5 billion and total funding to $404 million. The company develops generative AI agents for healthcare that handle patient-facing tasks such as appointment scheduling, intake histories, social determinant screenings, chronic disease management, and post-discharge follow-ups. These agents are built on the company’s Polaris Safety Constellation Architecture, which uses multiple LLMs to cross-verify outputs for accuracy and patient safety. CEO Munjal Shah emphasized that the new funding will help expand global deployments while maintaining the company’s core values of “do no harm” and “patients first.”
The round was led by Avenir Growth with participation from CapitalG, General Catalyst, Universal Health Services, Cincinnati Children’s, and others. Founded in 2023, Hippocratic AI has already partnered with more than 50 health systems and payers across six countries, including Cleveland Clinic, Northwestern Medicine, Moffitt Cancer Center, and Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Partners highlighted the company’s ability to scale compassionate, precise AI support in healthcare, aligning safety with efficiency to broaden access and improve patient experiences.
