Hippocratic AI introduced two voice-based AI tools—AI Front Door and Nurse Co-Pilot—focused on improving patient access and easing clinical workloads. AI Front Door acts as a single, continuous interface for patients, replacing fragmented call centers and digital entry points. It can manage scheduling, billing questions, lab results, and follow-ups within one conversation while retaining patient history to deliver a more personalized experience. The system also supports referrals, logistics like transportation, and caregiver updates across channels such as phone, text, and apps, with early deployments including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Nurse Co-Pilot is a voice assistant designed for inpatient nurses, developed with health systems including Cleveland Clinic and OhioHealth. It automates time-consuming workflows like patient education, admission guidance, and medication adherence, while integrating directly into electronic health records to document and summarize interactions. By shifting these repetitive tasks to AI, the tool is designed to return several hours per shift to bedside care, while maintaining clinical oversight. Both solutions are built on Hippocratic AI’s Polaris safety architecture, reinforcing a broader effort to use AI to expand capacity, streamline operations, and improve patient and clinician experiences.
