Hippocratic AI has been selected to join the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Health Tech Ecosystem, a pivotal component of the government’s broader digital transformation strategy for healthcare. This initiative highlights “Conversational AI Assistants” as a critical area for innovation, and Hippocratic AI was chosen for its leadership in developing safety-focused generative AI agents specifically for healthcare. The company formalized its commitment during meetings with CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz and other officials in Washington, D.C., and will be represented at a White House reception. The collaboration aligns with CMS’s recent AI Action Plan, which prioritizes the acceleration of scalable and secure AI infrastructure across the healthcare landscape.
As part of the initiative, Hippocratic AI signed the CMS pledge to develop conversational AI assistants capable of securely accessing health data—with patient consent—to provide personalized and clearly differentiated support. Hippocratic AI’s technology has already facilitated over 3.35 million patient calls globally, with an impressive satisfaction rating of 8.95 out of 10. CEO Munjal Shah emphasized that the company’s mission to create “healthcare abundance” is rooted in broad industry collaboration, echoing CMS’s vision. This partnership underscores Hippocratic AI’s role as a frontrunner in deploying generative AI to improve healthcare delivery at scale.
