Hippocratic AI has partnered with UAE-based Burjeel Holdings to deploy its safety-focused generative AI healthcare agents across the Middle East and North Africa. The collaboration, announced during Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week, will bring Hippocratic AI’s non-diagnostic, patient-facing AI agents into Burjeel’s hospitals and physiotherapy centers in the UAE and Oman. These agents, designed to enhance patient engagement through empathetic, multilingual communication, will support a range of specialties including oncology, cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics. The AI agents already support over 15 languages, including localized dialects like Emirati Arabic, with plans to expand to nearly all major global languages, ensuring cultural alignment and personalized healthcare delivery.
This partnership aligns with a broader trend of technological integration within Burjeel Holdings, which also recently teamed up with Genalyte to incorporate the Merlin automated diagnostic system, pending FDA approval. For Hippocratic AI, the announcement follows a $141 million Series B funding round that raised its valuation to $1.64 billion and supported an executive expansion to accelerate growth in global healthcare markets. The company continues to innovate through its Polaris system—its patented constellation LLM architecture—underpinning its low-latency conversational AI platform designed specifically for healthcare applications.
