Hippocratic AI was named to the 2026 Forbes America’s Best Startup Employers list, a ranking developed with Statista that evaluates U.S. startups based on employer reputation, employee satisfaction, and company growth. The recognition followed an analysis of more than 7 million data points collected from over 20,000 eligible companies, with roughly 2,500 startups qualifying for deeper review. Only 500 companies were ultimately selected for the final ranking announced on March 3, 2026.
Hippocratic AI’s leadership highlighted the award as recognition of the company’s mission-driven culture and its efforts to build generative AI healthcare agents designed to expand access to care. CEO and cofounder Munjal Shah emphasized that the company’s vision of “clinical abundance” attracts employees motivated by the goal of transforming healthcare delivery through safe, non-diagnostic patient-facing AI agents. The company has raised more than $404 million in funding and is backed by investors including Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Kleiner Perkins, NVIDIA’s NVentures, Premji Invest, SV Angel, and Google’s CapitalG.
