Hippocratic AI and AI Singapore (AISG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop AI solutions tailored to Southeast Asian languages and cultural contexts. This partnership leverages Hippocratic AI’s expertise in generative AI for healthcare, focusing on creating safe, effective, and empathetic voice-based agents capable of interpreting medical terminology and engaging naturally with users. Hippocratic AI will contribute real-world feedback and training data to refine models, while AISG, known for its SEA-LION family of LLMs, will provide engineering expertise and a deep understanding of the region’s linguistic and cultural intricacies. Key initiatives include developing high-accuracy Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) for Singlish and Indonesian, as well as text-based models that cater to Singapore’s unique linguistic landscape, enhancing accessibility and relevance in areas like healthcare.
