Burjeel Holdings and Hippocratic AI have announced a strategic partnership to deploy empathetic, multilingual generative AI healthcare agents across the UAE and Oman. These AI agents, which go beyond standard chatbot functionality, are designed to support patient-facing non-diagnostic clinical tasks across specialties like oncology, cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics. By integrating Hippocratic AI’s technology into Burjeel’s hospitals, medical centers, and digital platforms, the initiative aims to improve patient experience, reduce wait times, and address staffing challenges. The agents can handle real-time scheduling, health education, risk assessments, and follow-ups, while maintaining safety, cultural relevance, and compliance.
At the heart of this collaboration is Hippocratic AI’s Polaris 3.0 platform, a safety-first AI constellation that has been tested across 1.85 million patient calls and boasts a 99.38% clinical accuracy rate. Munjal Shah, Hippocratic AI’s co-founder and CEO, emphasized the goal of achieving “healthcare abundance” by delivering more compassionate and effective care at scale. These agents can engage in sustained, human-like conversations in over 15 languages—including Emirati Arabic and Vietnamese—and are being tailored to the region’s cultural context. With strong backing from major investors and deep clinical expertise, Hippocratic AI’s partnership with Burjeel represents a bold step toward AI-powered, patient-centered care in the MENA region.
